Konak is a family-run Turkish kebab and mezze house in the heart of Beckenham. Our name means "mansion" in Turkish — a place where family gathers, where food is made by hand, and where every guest is treated like one of our own.

We grill the traditional way, over an open flame. Our doner is Lamb, marinated in-house and stacked fresh every morning. Our shish, adana, and chicken kebabs are prepared by hand, threaded onto skewers and cooked to order over hot coals.

The mezze table is the heart of any Turkish meal, and ours is no exception. Hummus is made fresh each morning, the cacik is whisked from thick yoghurt and crushed garlic, and the borek is hand-rolled in our kitchen. Even the pittas are baked daily — soft inside, lightly charred outside, just as they should be.
